Fish fleets: 1,000 tonnes of Iberian sardine allocated for 2026 campaign

The General Directorate of Fisheries distributes 1,000 tonnes of additional Iberian sardine (stock PIL/8C9A) obtained through a quota exchange with Portugal. 40% is shared among all authorised fleets, while 60% is specifically allocated to the gillnet, racú and piobardeira fleet in the Cantabrian and North-Western fishing grounds to meet their consumption needs.
