Ministry of Education establishes ATECA and Entrepreneurship Class Registers

Regulation EFD/790/2026 creates registers for the State Network of Applied Technology Classes (ATECA) and Entrepreneurship Classes. Funded under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Next Generation EU), these classes aim to modernise vocational training through collaboration between institutions, sharing of technological resources and support for entrepreneurship.

How it affects those involved

Vocational training centres gain formal recognition of 1,439 ATECA and 1,708 Entrepreneurship Classes, enabling integration into a national collaborative network. This improves access to emerging technologies such as simulators and virtual reality, along with student guidance services. Public bodies and institutions benefit from enhanced visibility and management of EU-funded resources.
