Royal Decree 560/2026 amends the Public Prosecutor's Office organic staff structure to introduce new positions for Coordinating Chamber Prosecutor for economic crimes and crimes against Public Administration (Art. 1). New positions are created across the three central units due to increased workload resulting from RD 305/2022 (Art. 2). The staff structure is being adapted to current needs following a proposal by the Minister and a report from the Attorney General (Art. 1).

In 3 key points

  1. Introduction of the Coordinating Chamber Prosecutor position for economic crimes (art. 1)
  2. Creation of positions in central units due to increased workload (art. 2)
  3. Staffing adjustment following the Minister's proposal and the Attorney General's report (art. 1)

How it affects those involved
