Law 4/2026 on Cooperatives of the Principality of Asturias repeals Law 4/2010 on cooperatives, in accordance with Article 31.2 of the Statute of Cooperatives approved by Organic Law 7/1981. This repeal will take effect three months after its publication in the BOPA, pursuant to Article 3.1 of the new law.
Asturian cooperatives must adapt their legal framework to the new law, which supersedes the previous regulation. Administrators and cooperative boards must review their bylaws and procedures.
