Companies and unions in Aragon: electronic registration and filing of collective agreements and equality plans enabled

The Ministry of Labour and Social Economy and the Autonomous Community of Aragon have signed an agreement to enable the electronic registration and filing of collective agreements, labour agreements, equality plans, statutes of trade union/employer organisations, and the registration of temporary employment agencies (Annex). This agreement aims to digitise the management of these matters within Aragon through shared software applications.

In 3 key points

  1. Enabling electronic means for the registration of collective agreements, equality plans, and organisational statutes (Anexo, Exponente 2)
  2. The agreement involves no financial consideration or expenses for the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy (Cláusula Novena)
  3. A six-member Monitoring Commission is established to evaluate the system's operation (Cláusula Décima.1)

How it affects those involved

For companies, unions, and employer organisations operating in Aragon, the electronic processing of collective agreements, equality plans, and statutes is facilitated, removing the need for physical travel (Annex, Recital 2). Temporary employment agencies (TEAs) will also be able to register electronically within the region (Annex, Recital 2). The agreement does not incur additional costs for the administrations involved (Ninth Clause).
