The Directorate General for Armament and Material has approved Spanish Military Standard (NME) 3070/2026 concerning the 'Special authorisation card' (First). This standard establishes the technical characteristics and specifications for the procurement of said product by the Armed Forces and the Civil Guard. The approval is carried out in accordance with the Military Material Standardisation Regulation (arts. 6.c, 13.5 and 13.6).
For suppliers of material intended for the Armed Forces and the Civil Guard, the new NME-3070/2026 defines the mandatory technical standards for the procurement of special authorisation cards. Revisions to NMEs supersede previous editions (Single repealing provision), although the use of previous versions is permitted for material acquired prior to this approval (Single transitional provision).
