Political parties can challenge nominations within 48 hours of appointment of council members

The June 15, 2026 Resolution announces the appointment of two council members by VOX in Aldeanueva de San Bartolomé due to vacancies from no candidates on the list. A two-day period from publication in the BOE allows political representatives to challenge irregularities that would prevent the appointment (art. 2). This mechanism enables a quick review of the legitimacy of the substitution process for local representative positions.
