The collective agreement for the canned, salted fish and seafood sector is published and comes into force on 1 January 2025. It reflects the July 2022 agreement with corrections published in the BOE on 23 June 2026. It is valid until 31 December 2030 and may be extended in accordance with articles 90.2 and 90.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015 of 23 October.
Companies in the canned, salted, smoked and seafood products sector must apply the new collective agreement from 1 January 2025. The validity period extends to 31 December 2030 and may be extended. No direct changes to workers' rights or obligations are introduced, but a legal framework for labour conditions is established (arts. 90.2 and 90.3 of RDL 2/2015).
